HEY. I'M ELEANNA.

 

I am a NYC based actor and singer and my homeland is Greece. The cedar, the thyme, the olive tree, the stone, the sea and the sun; I always carry them along.

I grew up in two islands, Crete and Rhodes. This and being a Sagittarius is why my friends call me an “aeriko”, a pixie; with a mind often being somewhere up in the skies. I grew up with Max, a dog, a collie. He was the reason that I know what unconditional love is. Books, dreams, music and coffee are inseparable parts of my everyday life.
 

From an early age I have had the need to tell a story one way or another. I either wrote stories myself, or I visualized them from the books that I read and chose to perform the roles in them. I also remember spending endless hours with my father, singing together and listening to Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Manos Hatzidakis, Dimitris Papadimitriou, Elton John, Mikis Theodorakis, Jules Dassin, Bob Dylan and many more. I love them all.

Theatre and Music for me is the same thing. All I have to think about is the story I want to tell, whether it is accompanied by notes or not.
 

If I had to pick a reason and at the same time a purpose for performing, this would be to understand and connect with each other, way deeper than the surface that everyone easily sees.
